The Youth initiative program was quite an extensive program, it included a multiplicity of knowledgeable contents which were crucial in understanding how policies were formulated and the application of it. The event at a glance might seem like it must have been confined in just the review of the National Youth Policy. However, it was an event which had the potential to shape socially and politically conscious youths to develop collective consciousness in a democratic nation.
The youth initiative program was a platform for youths to raise their voice and make a difference for the greater good. In the context of the National Youth Policy, it opened up the space to make suggestions concerning the policy and how it aligns to our needs at an individual level. Through this, the concerns and needs of youths were addressed for youths by youths.
