Strengthening the capacity of the Local Government for Inclusive and Participatory Planning

Following the project extension granted by The Asia Foundation, a 5-day training session on GNH-Based Participatory Planning and Community Analysis was implemented in Trongsa from 16th – 20th February 2024 at Tendrel Resort, Trongsa. A total of 38 participants including local government elected leaders from 5 gewogs under Trongsa dzongkhag and officials from the dzongkhag administration attended the training. The training aimed to equip the participants with essential skills and practical tools to facilitate inclusive planning processes and community-driven development initiatives.
