Short Video Production – Youth Summit Programme

The Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy (BCMD) is seeking the services of a professional video editor/production consultant to create a short compiled video highlighting the Youth Summit Programme.

BCMD will provide raw footage and photos from the event. The consultant is expected to compile and produce a comprehensive and engaging short video that captures the essence, impact, and experiences of the Youth Summit.

Scope of Work:

Video Concept & Storyline

  • Collaborate with BCMD to understand the theme and objectives of the Youth Summit.
  • Structure the narrative flow of the video to reflect key moments, participant voices, and learning outcomes.

Editing & Post-Production

  • Review and curate provided footage and media from the summit.
  • Edit the footage into a short compiled video (approx. 5–7 minutes), ensuring clarity, coherence, and engaging storytelling.
  • Integrate music, subtitles (in English), voiceovers (if needed), transitions, and graphics to enhance viewer experience.
  • Ensure visual consistency and high-quality production standards.

Output

  • Final video should be delivered in high-definition format, suitable for both online platforms and in-person screenings.
  • Edited version to be submitted in both .mp4 and .mov formats.

Required Documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CVs) of individuals involved in video editing and production.
  • Samples of Previous Work, specifically short-format event or programme videos.
  • Detailed Budget Breakdown outlining all costs involved in post-production.
  • References: Contact details of individuals or organisations who can verify the consultant’s capabilities and professionalism.
