Youth Leadership Training

“Youth are the solution — not the problem! ”

The Youth Leadership Training at Paro College of Education provided platform for about 45 youths from Thimphu and PCE to train themselves leadership skills and explore different issues in the community and to reflect on their role in an evolving democracy.

The three-day leadership workshop also covered on Training of Trainers (ToT) on research skills for youth who will be selected from the leadership training to be peer facilitators and also BBS panel discussion.

The main focus of the training is to build the capacity of the youth to be active citizens in their communities. The training will also enable the youth to identify and address youth issues and also be equipped with the skills to provide support to other youth members in their community as peer facilitators.

There are participants from Paro college of Education, LGBT+ Community Bhutan, RU Youths, Nazhoen Lamtoen Youths, YI, Community Based Scouting and Media Club members.
