Quotation for Documentary Film Production: Women in Politics in Bhutan
BCMD seeks professional services for the production of a documentary film, approximately 30 minutes long, showcasing the experiences of women in politics across Bhutan since 2008, featuring interviews with women political leaders, highlighting their challenges, achievements, and contributions to the political landscape.
Scope of Work:
- Conceptualization & Pre-Production
- Work with BCMD to define the documentary’s structure, themes, and key messages.
- Develop a production schedule, identify locations, and arrange logistics for interviews with political leaders across various regions.
- Filming & Production
- Capture interviews with women political leaders, as well as relevant b-roll footage (e.g., political events, speeches, community engagements).
- Ensure diverse representation, capturing experiences from women in different political roles and regions.
- Post-Production
- Edit raw footage into a cohesive narrative, highlighting key moments and themes.
- Integrate voiceovers, graphics, and music to enhance the storytelling.
- Subtitles in English to ensure accessibility and clarity.
- Final video will be delivered in high-definition format suitable for online platforms and screenings.
- Duration of Film
- Approximately 30 minutes long, depending on the final content and interviews.
Required Documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CVs) of individuals involved in the documentary production.
- Samples of Previous Work demonstrating proficiency in documentary filmmaking.
- Detailed Budget Breakdown outlining all costs involved in production.
- References: Contact information for individuals or organizations that can attest to the consultant’s capabilities and professionalism.
