Strengthening the Foundations of Democracy Through Media Literacy in Bhutan

BCMD is pleased to share the launch of a new project: Strengthening the Foundations of Democracy Through Media Literacy in Bhutan funded by The United Nations Democracy Fund.
The project aims to strengthen democracy by educating students, educators, elected representatives, women and girls, persons with disabilities and underserved groups in media and democracy literacy.
It is only when citizens engage and make informed and independent choices that democracy comes alive.
